With the typefaces I chose, the previous sketches were not matching up well with the event and it’s identity, so I experiemented with typefaces more rather than sketches.

Finalizing Type Design

Deliverables

Digital Invite

Facebook Advertisement

Instagram Carousel

Instagram Story

Impact

Created a logotype that can be easily recognized and associated with the Walk and Play 2026 event. This will create more visibility for the event and can be posted about on many digital platforms.

Reflections / Considerations

This project allowed me to explore the creation of a typographic identity for an event and understand it’s impact and possibilities it can create for an event by using the identity across several different platforms. I learned how to create and size advertisements and carousels, along with a new skill of animating my designs for social media stories.
